"HOW TO WASH A MEN'S HAIR PIECE"

We'll be showing you how to wash a men's Hair Piece
Wearing hand gloves while washing, is hygienic and a smoother way of handling the Hair Piece
Gradually, dip the entire Hair Piece into the water. Use only soft water (drinking water).
Use a tub with a wide mouth, so that the Hair Piece can be evenly spread out when soaked
You can buy our KIT which includes all the quality products required, to maintain your Hair Piece
Add sufficient quantity of shampoo, and apply it across the Hair Piece.
Gently rub in the shampoo...
In case your Hair Piece is too grimy from applying oil, repeat the shampoo/rinse process a couple of times.
Gently rub in the shampoo...
Reverse the Hair Piece, and shampoo the silicon portion too
Shampooing this portion will also help remove the sticker marks and glue
Rinse by dipping in water a few times, make sure there are no tangles
Gently squeeze through, to drain the shampoo water
If still greasy, repeat the shampoo process
Now apply some conditioner evenly across the entire Hair Piece, to make the Hair Piece soft, bouncy & glossy
Leave conditioner on for 5 to 10 minutes, then proceed to rinse in fresh water
Gently squeeze drain the water
Use a broad-tooth comb, and gently comb all around the Hair Piece
Ensure no tangles. The comb should easily pass through.
After a wash, ideal to comb when wet. Once dry, it may be difficult to comb due to tangling.
The Hair Piece can now be dried by using a dry cloth, or placing under a fan
If using a blower, keep it at MINIMUM temperature, to avoid damage to the silicon portion
Now reverse the Hair Piece, to evenly dry out all areas
Especially, if you need to wear the Hair Piece immediately, this is the best drying procedure
Now, comb gently & style as required.
For better effect, use a quality styling gel, or apply the Hair Serum in our KIT.
This will help the Hair Piece from appearing frizzy.
Apply the styling gel / Hair Serum evenly across the Hair Piece...
Now comb to your required style ...
All Hair Pieces are delicate. Take extreme care while washing & handling them.
Do not rub the insides while washing. Be gentle.

To dry after a wash, or even if your wig gets drenched in the rain, follow as shown here

Instead of blow drying, you may also use a clean and dry cotton cloth, to pat your wet wig dry
Once the washed wig is reasonably dry, place it on a wig stand / mannequin
...and blow dry around the wig, while gently giving it a comb
Now, style as requiredWashing wigs too often, may cause damage. Ideally, wash your wig, once a month. Earlier, only if needed.

Maintaining your Chemo Wig - How to wash?
It is important to maintain your wig, to keep it in perfect shape
...and to minimize wear & tear
We'll be showing you how to wash your Chemo Wig
Advisable to wear a pair of gloves, for hygiene. Since chemotherapy may have reduced immunity.
When you buy a Chemo Wig from us, a KIT containing all the washing accessories will be given
Take a wide-mouthed tub, filled half-way with fresh water. Please use soft water (drinking water)
Hard water may cause long damage to the Wig
Add sufficient quantity of shampoo into the water,and lather up.
Take the Wig, free it up if styled.
Holding the Wig straight up, dip the entire length gently into the shampoo water
Soak the wig in the shampoo water for a few minutes. Use a quality shampoo.
Do not rub the Wig. Just allow it to soak.
Dip the wig in & out of the shampoo water ... gently squeeze down the excess water
Repeat the process, a few times
Wash the inside portion as well, by reversing it out
Make sure there is no tangling ...
Make sure there is no tangling ...the Wig should come up straight and undisturbed
Soak longer, if required (5 to 10 minutes)
After sufficiently soaking, replace shampoo water with fresh water
Rinse Wig in fresh water, to ensure that there is no shampoo left on it
Make sure entire Wig is clean, and free of tangles / knotting
Gently squeeze out excess water
Now, add some conditioner to the water, and soak the Wig in it
Conditioner will make the Wig soft, silky, and shiny
You can also apply some conditioner to the Wig too
Soak the Wig in conditioner water, for a few minutes

The Wig is now softer, due to the conditioner
Gently squeeze out excess water
Use a broad-tooth comb, to gently brush down the length of the Wig
Make sure there is no tangling...
If there is no tangling, the comb will smoothly pass through...
Comb all around, including the top portion & sides
Better to comb when wet, since there'll be no tangling.
If you comb after it is dry, may encounter tangles, causing hair pull.
Once thoroughly combed, you can now dry the Wig under a fan, or in an open place
Caution: A blow dryer should be used at MINIMUM temperature only - to avoid damage to Wig
When drying, do reverse the wig at the top, so that the mesh dries up too
Once dry, comb again & style as desired
